Overview

Evolving Education Grant

Funder: Guilford Fund for Education Inc (CT, US)

Purpose: An alternative to the standard GFFE grant designed to support the needs of educators through flexible funding for educational activities, events, or projects that enhance curriculum and support student learning in new and different ways.

Geographic Scope: Guilford, Connecticut

Eligible Applicants:

  • Guilford Public Schools

  • Guilford preschools

  • Community organizations
  • Focus Areas:

  • STEM

  • The arts and cultural awareness

  • Social and emotional supports
  • Funding Structure:

  • Up to $500 per teacher/staff included in the grant

  • Maximum of $1,500 per grant

  • For proposals exceeding $1,500 from the same Professional Learning Community or grade level, applicants should consider applying for the standard GFFE grant instead
  • Implementation Deadline: Programming must be implemented by December 31st of the award year
