Funding Focus Areas

The foundation considers support for:

• Disadvantaged populations: Resources for those significantly disadvantaged or unable to help themselves
• Measurable impact: Organizations demonstrating how personal efforts will make measurable differences in improving the world locally or globally
• Reducing suffering: Assistance in eliminating unnecessary suffering for both people and animals
• Education and job skills: Supporting access to education and job skills training as means of empowerment
• Practical educational solutions: Educational funding only where providers or recipients demonstrate pursuit of least cost, most practical methods for accessing educational opportunities

Geographic Scope

Will consider supporting projects that improve conditions locally or globally

What They Don't Fund

• Educational programs that do not demonstrate least cost, most practical approaches
• Support for those not able to demonstrate personal effort toward change

Foundation Philosophy

The foundation believes that access to education and job skills are important aspects of empowering others. They also believe the educational system and its cost/funding mechanisms in the US are fundamentally flawed.
