We continue that work as we evolve to meet today's challenges. Our Vision We are dedicated to achieving a more engaged, just, and equitable society, through nimble, catalytic funding. Our Mission We work to build stronger, more equitable communities through investments in organizations and programs that drive civic engagement with a focus on arts education and cultural participation. We are committed to working flexibly with grantees and philanthropic partners, using creative and trust-based approaches to achieve the most impact with our resources. Our Strategies: Transformational Funding: We aim to be catalytic in our impact, funding organizations that support vulnerable and marginalized communities as they work creatively and collaboratively towards transformational change. We invest in two focus areas: civic engagement and NYC-based arts education. Trust-based Grantmaking: Beyond providing funding, we also care about creating processes that work. We believe that nonprofit leaders know best how to direct the support we provide. Our application and reporting requirements are simple and transparent, so that organizations can focus on their missions. High-impact Partnerships; We believe in the power of collaboration to effectively leverage resources, develop ecosystems, and create new opportunities. Joint projects with other funders and grantees mean we can do even more to advance our vision of a more engaged, just, and equitable society.Eligibility
