Program Overview

Recognizing that otherwise independent mothers sometimes face emergency situations, St. Raymond's Society offers financial and material services to eligible families experiencing unexpected financial hardship.

Eligible Circumstances

• Health crisis
• Job change
• Other unexpected changes in income
• Maternity leave or bedrest

Types of Assistance Available

Material Necessities:

• Baby supplies
• Diapers
• Personal hygiene products

Emergency Financial Assistance:

• Rent assistance
• Utility bills
• Short-term hotel stays (as funds allow)

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be pregnant OR parenting a child under 12 months old (as of current program guidelines)
• If parenting, all children must be under the age of 5
• Must complete application
• Must provide supporting documentation
• Limitation: May only receive assistance once per 12-month period

How to Apply

1. Complete the Emergency Assistance application
2. Email supporting documents to info@srshelp.org
3. Applications are reviewed when all required documents are received

Required Documents by Assistance Type

For Utility Assistance:

• Copy of utility bill (must include applicant name/address)
• Copy of photo ID

For Rental Assistance:

• Rent statement (must include applicant name/address and amount requested)
• Landlord name, address, and phone number
• Copy of photo ID

For Proof of Pregnancy (if applicable):

• Doctor's note OR
• Verification from one of St. Raymond's partner agencies

Submission Instructions

• Apply through the website portal
• Email supporting documents to: info@srshelp.org
• All required documents must be received before application review begins

Important Notes

• Applicants must be either pregnant or if parenting, all children must be under age 5
• Limited to one assistance period per 12-month rolling period
• For longer-term financial instability, consider applying for residential or community coaching programs
