Background: Established in memory of Steve Eller (McDowell High School class of 2004, passed away 2017). The fund supports students to participate in activities and build meaningful friendships, honoring Eller's legacy of maintaining lifelong connections with friends made through extracurricular activities.

Purpose

To provide financial support to students participating in camps, clubs, sports, YMCA memberships, and other out-of-school activities that foster peer connections and personal development.

Eligibility

Students attending any school in the Millcreek Township School District are eligible to apply for financial support for:
• Camps
• Clubs and organizations
• Sports participation
• YMCA memberships
• New activities and experiences

Application Timeline

Applications are accepted throughout the year (rolling admission)

Community Impact

In 2018, Eller's friends held a fundraiser for The Autism Society of Northwestern Pennsylvania, raising nearly $14,000, in recognition of Eller's commitment to learning about Autism to develop a relationship with his nephew.
