Elkhorn Community Fund Grant

The Elkhorn Community Fund, established in 2007, enables residents to contribute to a permanent endowment that supports local non-profits. Grants are awarded annually to enhance community welfare through projects in education, health care, and cultural preservation. Governed by a volunteer board, the fund encourages community engagement and philanthropy, ensuring that donations make a lasting impact on the Elkhorn area.

The Elkhorn Fund was established in 2007 as a means for current and former residents to give back to the community through charitable contributions. Donations to the Elkhorn Fund are placed into a permanent endowment fund. A percentage of the Fund’s earnings are given back to the community annually in the form of grants to Elkhorn-area non-profit organizations.
Grants are awarded to support historical and environmental preservation, education, health care, youth programs and the elderly. The Fund is advised by a board of community volunteers who initiate fundraising activities and determine grant awards.

Eligibility

Once per year the advisory board awards grants to non-profit organizations, the local school district, and/or local government agencies for charitable programs or projects serving the good of the community.
