El Dorado Grants The El Dorado Community Foundation (ECF) is excited to announce the opening of its 2025 Grant Cycle, designed to promote community service, projects, programs, and events that enhance the El Dorado community. This year, approximately $10,000 is available to award, sourced from the following charitable funds: Kansas Health Foundation Fund – Butler County: Supports local health initiatives in Butler County, KS, promoting healthy lifestyles, behaviors, and environments. Funding requests should not exceed $1,500. Kansas Health Foundation Fund – El Dorado: Provides funding for public health promotion and protection in El Dorado, KS, fostering healthy living. Funding requests should not exceed $1,500. El Dorado Prairie Port Festival Fund: Supports community events that strengthen family relationships by bringing together residents and former residents of El Dorado. Grants from this fund typically range from $1,000. George Trimble Special Needs Charitable Fund: Assists organizations with projects promoting welfare and safety by: Responding to disasters (e.g., fire, flood, natural disasters).Supporting public health, education, safety, or other cultural activities.Providing general assistance to those in need.Funding requests should not exceed $2,500.
