APS represents more than 50,000 members, including physicists in academia, national laboratories, and industry in the United States and throughout the world. The APS Eastern Great Lakes Section (EGLS) offers the Doc Brown Young Investigator Award, bestowed once yearly at the spring meeting to young faculty. Awardees will receive a cash prize and a section commendation for outstanding research. The award is named in honor of Robert Brown.Eligibility
