Educational Event Funding

Purpose: Recognizes the critical need for continually updating medical knowledge and skills to provide quality care. WMREF funds medical symposiums and conferences each year.

Funding Sources: Endowed funds provided to WMREF for educational purposes

Availability: Usually available at no cost or reduced cost to all

Application Timeline: Applications must be received no later than 6 months prior to the event in order to acknowledge WMREF in all printed materials.

Requirements:

• All WMREF funded events and programs must provide a follow-up report
• Board also funds worthy local and state educational events when funding is available

Application Process

1. Complete the Conference and Education Event Application form
2. Submit application no later than 6 months prior to the event
3. Include WMREF acknowledgment in all printed materials
4. Submit follow-up report after event completion

• Change of Budget Form (if needed)
• Small Grant Report and Budget form
• Budget Extension Form (if applicable)
