Easton Legacy Fund Grant

The Easton Legacy Fund Grant, managed by the SouthCoast Community Foundation, aims to enhance the quality of life in Easton, MA. Established to support nonprofit initiatives, it prioritizes projects that promote arts, culture, recreation, and local history. Eligible organizations must serve the Easton community, have 501(c)(3) status, and can request grants up to $3,500. This fund advocates for philanthropic endeavors that foster community engagement and well-being.

In its first year of operation, the SouthCoast Community Foundation received its first charitable gift of $100,000. In 1997, we invested $1 million to establish Youth Entitled to Success (Project YES), spearheading drug abuse prevention and education efforts in our community.
The SouthCoast Community Foundation currently manages $50 million in charitable assets in support of more than 200 funds established by nonprofits, families, and businesses across Southeastern Massachusetts.
The SouthCoast Community Foundation offers several competitive grant programs that invest in communities throughout Southeastern Massachusetts, intending to support nonprofit organizations’ causes in our area.
The Easton Legacy Fund was established to support the projects of not-for-profit organizations whose initiatives add to the quality of life within Easton or enhance the town.

Eligibility

Applicant organizations must directly serve the Easton, MA community.The SouthCoast Community Foundation’s service area spans 41 cities and towns in the region, with its primary funding focused on the SouthCoast communities of Greater New Bedford, Greater Fall River, and Southern Plymouth County.Applicants must have a 501(c)3 status.Eligible organizations may request up to $3,500.
