Eastern Iowa Angus Association Oliver Hansen Memorial Scholarship Grant

The Eastern Iowa Angus Association Oliver Hansen Memorial Scholarship, administered by the Quad Cities Community Foundation, supports students from specified Iowa counties pursuing education in agriculture. Applicants must be involved with the Angus breed, maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA, and enroll full-time at accredited institutions. Scholarships provide up to $1,000 annually and are renewable for two years, aiding students in achieving their academic and career goals.

Today, we award nearly $600,000 annually in scholarships to students in the Quad Cities and beyond.

Eligibility

Applicant must reside in one of the following Iowa counties: Cedar, Clinton, Jackson, Scott, or Muscatine.Applicant must be actively involved in the Angus breed and/or pursuing an education or career within agriculture.Applicant must plan to enroll or be enrolled full-time for undergraduate studies at any accredited community college, college, or university, or trade/technical school.Applicant must have at least a 2.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.Applicant cannot have reached their 25th birthday prior to January 1 of the year of application.Merit evaluated by school activities, community and personal activities, and work experience.
