The American Association for Anatomy (AAA) is the professional home for more than 2,000 students, teachers, and practitioners of the anatomical sciences.

Early-Career Anatomist Publication Award

Recognizes the best publication by an early-career anatomist in each of the society's three journals: Anatomical Sciences Education, Developmental Dynamics, and The Anatomical Record.

$1,000 Honorarium and $1,750 Travel to AAA Annual Meeting

Eligibility

* Criteria:
* Up to three awards will be given each year (one for each journal)
* Materials Required: Title, and PDF of published manuscript
* Students, postdocs, and assistant professors without tenure who are first or last author (assuming the last author is laboratory director) on a paper published in any of AAA's three journals the calendar year preceding the presentation of the award
* Applicants must have joined AAA prior to submitting their application and paid their dues for the year in which the award will be presented and must travel to the AAA Annual Meeting to accept the award.
* Reviewed by the Scientific Affairs Committee
