About Denver Scholarship Foundation Denver Scholarship Foundation (DSF) is a nonprofit helping to make college possible and building the educational and economic future of Denver by collaborating with Denver Public Schools (DPS) high school students, families, and partners statewide to increase access and completion of post-high school learning, while also expanding generational exposure to career and entrepreneurial opportunities. Who We Are DSF was founded in 2006 based on wide recognition that Denver students face multiple barriers to completing a postsecondary degree. These barriers are not solely financial. Together our staff, board, donors, and community are creating access to higher education for the lifelong success of DPS students. Our Mission Denver Scholarship Foundation (DSF) inspires and empowers Denver Public Schools (DPS) students to enroll in and graduate from postsecondary institutions of higher education, by providing the tools, knowledge, and financial resources essential for success. DSF Scholarship The DSF Scholarship is a need-based award for Denver Public Schools graduates. Scholars can attend 30 college partners in Colorado, including technical, community, and 4-year colleges. Scholars must enroll full-time. The scholarship can be renewed for up to five years in a row, and Scholars receive extra support through college and beyond.

Eligibility

Graduate from high school with a final cumulative GPA that meets DSF’s requirement for your college type:4-Year College/University: High School GPA at least 2.75 OR get DSF’s approval for an exceptionCommunity College: High School GPA at least 2.5 OR get DSF’s approval for an exceptionTechnical College: High School GPA at least 2.0Enroll full-time at one of DSF’s 30 College Partners in Colorado.Show financial need with a Student Aid Index (SAI) of 16,640 or less.Complete your college’s financial aid process by July 15. Meet your college’s requirements for Colorado residency (for in-state tuition or state aid). Apply for 3 other scholarships OR 2 scholarships and a student support program.
