Driver of the Month/Year Awards Program
Overview: The California Trucking Association honors California's best truck drivers by naming them Drivers of the Month throughout the year, culminating in a Driver of the Year award.
- Nominees: California domiciled drivers
- Nominators: Companies with current CTA membership in good standing
- Entry Limit: No limit on the number of entries per member company
- Nomination Criteria: Drivers who have shown dedication to their job and safety responsibility
Eligibility
- No application fee for nomination
- Award Fee: Member company charged $125 if the driver is selected for an award
- Awards: Each winner receives a plaque and recognition at annual banquets
- Presentation: Winners are honored at two annual banquets (one in North California, one in South California) held each November
- Driver of the Year: Special honor revealed at the banquet event
