Dr. Samuel D., Martha B. and Mabel I. Sledd Foundation Grant

The Dr. Samuel D., Martha B. and Mabel I. Sledd Foundation Grant supports impactful projects in the Fort Wayne/Allen County area. Eligible organizations must be tax-exempt under 501(c)(3) and have three years of operation. The foundation prioritizes initiatives that address community needs, benefit underserved populations, and demonstrate measurable outcomes with plans for sustainability. Notably, it does not fund general operating costs or new programming.

This trust is designated for the Fort Wayne/Allen County area.
Our Committee supports projects and programs that:

• Support year-round programming
• Provide direct services to individuals and reflect the core social mission of the organization
• Address a need in the community for which there is a demonstrated demand
• Have broad impact or benefit underserved populations
• Have measurable outcomes, a plan for documenting results, and long-term sustainability
• Have diversified income streams and demonstrate effective financial accountability
• Involve collaboration with other organizations

Complement rather than duplicate the work of other non-profit organizationsAre submitted from organizations that have 3 years of operation in full service to others. Also, the program or project for which you are applying needs to have at least one (1) complete year with a report showing the measurable impact available prior to applying
