Dr. Ethan R. Sellers Memorial Scholarship Fund Grant

The Dr. Ethan R. Sellers Memorial Scholarship Fund, established by the Solano Community Foundation, honors Dr. Ethan R. Sellers and supports students from disadvantaged backgrounds pursuing healthcare degrees. With an award amount of $1,400, the scholarship aims to assist those who have completed at least three years of undergraduate studies and maintain a GPA of 3.2 or higher, thereby fostering future healthcare professionals in underserved communities.

The Dr. Ethan R. Sellers Memorial Scholarship was established to honor the memory of Dr. Ethan Ross Sellers.
Scholarships awarded are made possible from the Dr. Ethan R. Sellers Memorial Scholarship Fund, a component fund of the Solano Community Foundation.

Eligibility

The recipient must:Come from a disadvantaged/underserved background or Plan to work in an underserved or underrepresented community orBelong to a community which is underrepresented in healthcare professions.Has completed at least three years of undergraduate studies by the end of June of the year in which the scholarship will be awarded, with at least a 3.2 cumulative grade point average (GPA).Is pursuing a degree in the healthcare field AND attends a school in either Solano County, Yolo County, Napa County, or the state of Pennsylvania.Must meet one of the following criteria: be in pursuit of a 4-year university degree, at a minimum; OR be accepted to a post-graduate program; OR be a post-graduate student.
