Explain how advanced training and knowledge will help serve medical/healthcare needs of communities (Karnataka, elsewhere in India, or inside Tibet)

Letters of Recommendation:

Two letters from medical professionals or faculty advisors attesting to:

- Capabilities, skills, and performance as medical student, researcher, or practitioner

One letter from a mentor attesting to:

- Character, qualities, and commitment to service

Selection Criteria:
1. Academic Excellence: Strong performance in medical school and relevant training programs
2. Specialization Relevance: Relevance of chosen specialization to Tibetan community medical needs; priority to areas addressing critical gaps
3. Clinical Experience: Strong clinical experience, patient outcomes, demonstrated proficiency in specialized procedures
4. Leadership and Initiative: Initiative in driving positive change in healthcare delivery
5. Collaboration and Mentorship: Ability to collaborate effectively; contributions to patient care, teamwork, mentoring
6. Contributions to Medical Practice: Background in innovative medical practices, improved patient care, medical technology advancements
