Community Foundation of North Central Washington The Community Foundation of NCW is a tax-exempt philanthropic organization that helps individuals, families, businesses, and agencies support charitable causes throughout Chelan, Douglas, and Okanogan counties. Doell Family Scholarship The children of Bill and Mildred Doell (pronounced “Dell”) wanted their parents to be remembered for their high ideals and service to North Central Washington. The Doells both grew up and worked in Wenatchee & Eastern Washington. Mrs. Doell was a teacher and Mr. Doell owned his own business for over 50 years. This scholarship supports graduating seniors from NCW with special emphasis on students who are interested in a career in journalism or music. The committee seeks to award students who demonstrate financial need and a good work ethic both at school and in the community.Eligibility
