DLS CLEO Student Poster Awards Grant

The DLS CLEO Student Poster Awards, sponsored by the American Physical Society, celebrate outstanding research by undergraduate and graduate students presenting at the CLEO conference. Participants must submit a paper and opt-in to the competition, with three awards recognizing the best posters, each accompanied by a $100 prize and certificates. Membership in the Division of Laser Science is necessary for eligibility. This initiative fosters academic excellence and engagement in the field of laser science.

The American Physical Society (APS) is a nonprofit membership organization working to advance and diffuse the knowledge of physics through its outstanding research journals, scientific meetings, and education, outreach, advocacy, and international activities. APS represents more than 50,000 members, including physicists in academia, national laboratories, and industry in the United States and throughout the world.
Undergraduate and graduate students who present at the CLEO conference are invited to participate in a poster competition sponsored by the Division of Laser Science to recognize excellence in research by student members. Three best-poster awards are given, each recognized by a certificate and a $100 award, as well as honorable mentions, recognized by certificates. Membership in DLS is required to participate.

Eligibility

To be eligible for consideration, students must submit a paper to the CLEO Conference, must opt-in to the competition during the submissions process, and must be sessioned for a poster presentation during the sub-committee review.Membership in DLS is required to participate.
