Program Director Recognition Award Residency and Fellowship Program Directors face many challenges in administering a training program. This award is intended to acknowledge excellence on their behalf and recognize individuals whose leadership, creativity, and innovation are crucial in ensuring the future of Neurology. Nominations should be inclusive in regard to gender and underrepresented groups. Candidates can nominate themselves or be nominated. Posthumous nominations will not be accepted. Benefits Annually, two (2) residency program directors and two (2) fellowship program directors will be selected to receive a certificate of recognition by the AAN. Recipients will be acknowledged at the Consortium of Neurology Program Directors (CNPD) Business Meeting.

Associate program directors are eligible. Demonstrated excellence in GME education Demonstrated record of leadership, creativity, innovation, and scholarshipApplication requirements:Curriculum vitae (CV)Three letters of recommendation: one each from DIO or Department Chair, Program or Fellowship Coordinator, and current resident(s) or fellow(s).
