Competitive Grants Program Pfizer supports the global healthcare community’s independent initiatives (e.g., research, quality improvement or education) to improve patient outcomes in areas of unmet medical need that are aligned with Pfizer’s medical and/or scientific strategies. Pfizer’s competitive grant program involves a publicly posted Request for Proposal (RFP) that provides detail regarding a specific area of interest and sets timelines for review and approval. Organizations are invited to submit an application addressing the specific gaps in research, practice or care as outlined in the specific RFP. The grant requester (and ultimately the grantee) is responsible for the design, implementation, sponsorship, and conduct of the independent initiative supported by the grant, including compliance with any regulatory requirements. Developing Educational Initiatives for Implementation and Therapy Management of BCMA BsAbs in RRMM General Area of Interest for this RFP: Projects that will be considered for Pfizer support will focus on increasing healthcare professional understanding and competency in the use and management of BCMA BsAbs for the treatment of Relapsed/Refractory Multiple Myeloma, and may address one or more of the following areas: Sharing successful practice models for BCMA BsAb implementation, identifying challenges and presenting effective solutions including coordination of care among multidisciplinary teamsAddressing educational gaps in the community oncology setting regarding initiation of care, guidance on the patient transition from academic to community setting, and assessment and management of adverse events in patients receiving BCMA BsAbs (i.e. CRS, ICANS, infection)Understanding the emerging evidence for the evolving role of BCMA BsAbs in earlier lines of therapy Equipping patients and their care partners with the necessary knowledge and resources for BCMA BsAb therapyUnderstanding the comfort level of implementing BCMA BsAbs therapy management

Applicant organizations to this RFP must be based in United States The following may apply: medical, nursing, allied health, and/or pharmacy professional schools; healthcare institutions (both large and small); professional organizations/medical societies; medical education companies; and other entities with a mission related to patient and/or healthcare professional education and/or healthcare improvement.Only organizations are eligible to receive grants, not individuals or physician-owned medical practices. If the project involves multiple departments within an institution and/or between different institutions / organizations / associations, all institutions must have a relevant role, and the requesting organization must have a key role in the project. Examples of educational formats that will be considered under this RFP include but are not limited to: Creative educational initiatives with the potential for wide-reaching engagement.Education using online platforms with downloadable resources and reference tools for HCPs and/or patients.Professional medical society programs with wide reach to community oncologists caring for patients with RRMM.Interactive learnings, case-based learnings, workshops, tumor boards.Online articles, training courses, webinars.Social media posted & linked content.Videos, podcasts, infographics, animations.

Ineligibility

It is not our intent to support clinical research projects. Projects evaluating the efficacy of therapeutic or diagnostic agents will not be considered.
