Eligible applicants must be graduates of a Montana high school and accepted into a graduate program at an accredited U.S. institution. Eligibility

In good standing with the Association as a State or National Horatio Alger ScholarHave completed an undergraduate degree program with a minimum grade point average of 3.0Accepted into a Master’s or Doctoral program at an accredited university located in the United States or CanadaProvide evidence of leadership skills and civic/community involvementBe a citizen of the United States or CanadaProvide resume including employment history, academic achievements, and two professional/academic referencesApplicants must be working toward a post-graduate degree in an eligible field
