Overview

The Industry Relief Fund provides immediate emergency grants of $500 directly to Delaware restaurant and foodservice workers facing unanticipated hardship. It is run by the Delaware Restaurant Foundation, the nonprofit arm of the Delaware Restaurant Association.

Qualifying hardships include injury, illness, the death or illness of a family member, and natural disasters such as flood, fire or storm damage. Assistance goes to the worker rather than to an employer.

How to Apply

Apply online through the Industry Relief Fund application. You will need proof of current employment in a Delaware restaurant or food and beverage hospitality business - your most recent paystub - and proof of the hardship, such as a signed letter on company letterhead, a medical diagnosis from a doctor, a newspaper article or a published obituary.
