Deihl Community Grants

The Deihl Community Grants, offered by the Greater Manhattan Community Foundation, aim to support impactful projects in the arts, basic human needs, and youth, primarily benefiting Manhattan and Riley County, Kansas. Non-profit organizations are eligible to apply, with a focus on proposals that directly support community constituents. Applications may be submitted quarterly, but only one grant can be awarded per year to each organization. Ongoing support from the foundation is generally not funded.

Grants are intended to support projects likely to have a major impact on community efforts in the arts, basic human needs and youth, located in or impacting a large segment of the population. Generally grants are awarded to proposals clearly focused on the support of the constituents of Manhattan and Riley County, Kansas.

Eligibility

Non-profit organizations with a potential project should complete the online application that includes a letter of intent/interest to the GMCF for initial screening by the Deihl grants committee.Organizations may apply in multiple quarters but will only be awarded one Deihl grant per calendar year.

Ineligibility

Proposals generally should NOT be made for projects requiring ongoing support from GMCF, although multi-year funding to reach an approved project total will be considered. Schools and government agencies will not be considered.
