Overview

The Custodes Libertatis Memorial Foundation awards scholarships to the children of United States Naval Academy graduates who lost their lives in the line of duty.

To be eligible, an applicant must meet all of the following: be the child of a United States Naval Academy graduate who lost his or her life as a result of combat action, in the line of duty, or as a direct result of service in the U.S. Intelligence Community, a Law Enforcement Agency, Emergency Medical Services, or as a First Responder, in the period following September 11th, 2001; have completed or be presently completing junior year of high school, or GED equivalency; and be currently applying to a post-secondary degree program at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, technical or trade school.

The Foundation is an American tax-exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit with public charity status.
