Curatorial Internships

Overview: The IFPDA Foundation provides funding for curatorial internships in museum print and drawing collections. Program recognizes the importance of early career exposure to prints and drawings.

Geographic Scope: United States and international museums

Training under guidance of experienced print specialists

Introduction to curatorial practices in print departments

Eligibility:

Institutions must have experienced print specialists to mentor interns

Internship Requirements:

May be offered in summer, spring, fall, or winter

Must be completed within 12 months of funding approval date

Background: Recognizing the importance of cultivating the next generation of print specialists, the IFPDA Foundation has funded internships at major institutions including The New York Public Library, Philadelphia Museum of Art, Eskenazi Museum of Art, and many others.
