Society of Toxicology Founded in 1961, the Society of Toxicology (SOT) is a professional and scholarly organization of scientists from academic institutions, government, and industry representing the great variety of scientists who practice toxicology in the US and abroad. Singh Carcinogenesis Graduate Student Endowment Award The Carcinogenesis Specialty Section (CSS) encourages graduate students to submit their abstracts for competition for best abstract awards. While student abstracts may be submitted for multiple SOT awards, the CSS student awards will not be given to a student receiving another award for the same abstract. The first-place winner will receive the Dharm V. Singh Endowment Award. They will receive a plaque and check for $750. Second and third place graduate student winners will receive certificates as well as checks for $500 and $350, respectively. The award will be announced during the CSS meeting at the SOT Annual Meeting.

Eligibility

You can learn more about this opportunity by visiting the funder's website. Must be a graduate student. Work must be related to the field of carcinogenesis. Must not have received a First-Place award from CSS within the last 3 years. Note: Applicants do not need to be CSS members to be eligible for this award. You must be a member of this organization to apply for this award - become a member.
