CSRA COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund

Geographic Scope: CSRA region (Central Georgia and surrounding areas across two states)

Overview:
A partnership between United Way of the CSRA and the Community Foundation for the CSRA created to provide swift and needed resources to nonprofit organizations on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic serving the community's most vulnerable populations. Launched March 20, 2020.

Funding Distribution

As of August 2020, the fund has:

• Distributed over $1.4 million across 52 local organizations
• Impacted the lives of more than 67,000 residents throughout the CSRA
• Distributed funds on a rolling basis throughout outbreak and recovery phases

• Medical and Mental Health Services – $319,600
• Child Care for First Responders and Critical Workers – $50,000
• Educational Enrichment – $162,500
• Resiliency Training – $25,000
