Overview: The Creative Capital Award is the only national open call grant program dedicated to funding artists creating new work in every discipline.

Award Amount: Unrestricted project grants up to $50,000 per artist

Geographic Scope: National (all 50 states and territories)

Funding History:

Since founding in 1999, Creative Capital has provided $55 million in grants and services to 1,119 artists

2025: $2.45 million awarded to 55 artists (49 new works)

2026: $2.9 million in grants to 109 artists
