Create Healthy awards scholarships to working adults who want to change careers or advance in their existing healthcare careers. This program supports education and professional advancement for adult learners pursuing healthcare credentials.

Geographic Scope
Applicants must be:

Residents of Gillespie County, Blanco County, Llano County, Mason County, or the town of Comfort, OR

Employed by an organization in one of these areas

Focus Areas
Scholarships support healthcare professionals pursuing education in healthcare-related fields. See attached list of qualifying areas of study.

Eligibility Requirements

Be enrolled in courses in the healthcare field

Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident

Be a resident of or employed by an organization in Gillespie County, Blanco County, Llano County, Mason County, or the town of Comfort

Be enrolling in a degree or certificate program

Be one of the following:

- Working professional returning to school
- GED recipient
- Career-changer
- Student with unique educational journey

Preference given to those with proven financial need

Selection Criteria

Letters of recommendation (one from current employer and one from current colleague)
