CPB Student/PDF Research Grant The Canadian Society of Zoologists is a professional organization dedicated to the enhancement of education and research in zoology at the provincial, federal and international level. Membership is open to all persons interested in zoology - Students, Researchers, and Educators. The Canadian Society of Zoologists is a diverse and inclusive not-for-profit scientific society that welcomes members of any gender, race, ethnicity, religion and sexual orientation. The society aims to reflect this diversity at all levels, ranging from participation at meetings, to representation on council and committees, to the recipients of its awards. The Canadian Society of Zoologists is proud to promote and support equality for all members interested in zoology. The CPB Student/PDF Research Grant assist student and post-doctoral members of the CPB section with expenses incurred during visits to other laboratories, research facilities, field stations or sites to conduct zoological research. The intention is to support ancillary research activities that will supplement and enhance the applicant’s core research program, and applications of this type will be given priority over those to fund core research, which is normally the responsibility of the applicant’s supervisor and/or funding agency.Eligibility
