Geographic Scope: Monroe County, Indiana

Emergency grant program opened March 22, 2020 to immediately support Monroe County nonprofits with streamlined 24-hour evaluation process. Funded through repurposed unused dollars from past grantees and nonprofit fund holders.

• Total awards (2020): 22 organizations funded
• First round (March 31): 17 organizations awarded
• Second round (April 2): 5 additional organizations awarded

Note: First round opened March 22 and closed after initial funding. Foundation received 34 applications requesting $76,000 total. Foundation developed Phase 2 response with additional information released as available.
