  • Originality and Importance: Written application quality, challenges addressed, geographic area/focus

  • Achievement/Achievability: Can applicant deliver? Is workplan realistic within suggested timeline? Ethical/health and safety considerations?

  • Impact and Dissemination: Relevant audience identified? How will work transform perception on COVID-19? Why is work important now?

  • Rigor: Follows fact-checking methodology? How will sources be verified for accuracy? Reliable resources used?
  • Priority: Projects serving local/underserved communities, women, non-binary people, vulnerable populations, and rural populations

    How to Apply

    Proceso de Solicitud

    1. Complete Online Form:
    - Solicitantes completan un formulario en línea que detalla su propuesta

    2. Board Review:
    - La junta asesora del fondo se reúne semanalmente para revisar todas las solicitudes

    3. Notification:
    - Los solicitantes seleccionados son notificados dentro de los 5 a 10 días posteriores a la presentación
    - Si no recibe respuesta dentro de tres semanas después de la presentación, la propuesta no fue exitosa
    - No se responde a cada solicitante debido al volumen de solicitudes

    4. Publication:
    - Los candidatos aceptados publican sus proyectos en sus propias plataformas
    - Serán referenciados en la página Check Global
    - Serán presentados posteriormente en el blog
