Overview

COVID-19 Educator Relief Fund

Status: This program was active in 2020. Current status unknown as of 2026.

Purpose: To receive immediate dollars to support the urgent needs of teachers and the care of students in response to the COVID-19 national health emergency.

Geographic Scope: Fayetteville, Arkansas

Eligible Recipients:
* Fayetteville Public Schools teachers and staff
* Parent groups such as PTOs

Eligible Projects:
* Projects that fill gaps identified and extra resources needed in response to COVID-19
* Projects to improve in-person and online instruction during the Fall semester
* Projects addressing urgent and basic needs of students in public schools
* Projects reducing basic barriers to student learning

Award Details:
* No limit on requested amount
* Recipients not guaranteed full requested amount; may receive partial funding based on funds available and merit of application

Requirements:
* Supervisors must review proposal before submission
* Submission verifies grant has been reviewed and approved by school principal and/or department director
