A maximum of $200,000 will be awarded in grants for the FY25 school year, up to $10,000 per district. Georgia LEAs are eligible to apply. Grant Purpose The Computer Science Teacher Equipment and Community Grant intends to build a community for computer science teachers that will provide professional instruction, practice, and pedagogy support. In building instructional practice, a goal is to promote the use of physical computing to engage students in computer science education by providing funding for up to five teachers per district to join a professional organization for computer science education, to pay for registration costs to attend a local or national computer science-focused conference, and to purchase a class set of physical computing devices along with the necessary professional training for implementation and use.Eligibility
