Program Description:
This multi-year initiative supports nonprofits executing ground-level, community-driven strategies to tackle systemic issues and empower communities. Priority focus: creating innovative, tangible solutions to address critical challenges related to community safety and well-being.

Funding Amount: $450,000 awarded in first round (May 2025) across five organizations. Individual awards ranged from $50,000 to $150,000.

Funding Source: FOREVER Funds

Decision-Making: Community Initiatives Committee (volunteer)

Diversity: Eighty percent of funded agencies are led by executive directors/CEOs of color
