Application Process

10-Step Application Process:

1. Follow the grant guideline sections carefully
2. Ensure your organization meets eligibility requirements
3. Talk with a program officer about your grant proposal
4. Attend Drop-in Day (held monthly) for feedback from nonprofit staff and board members
5. Plan to meet the correct application deadlines
6. Register for the online application system (one-time registration for future applications)
7. Gather all required materials to upload with your application
8. Work on your application over time (can be accessed and updated any time before submission)
9. Submit your application online by the deadline (no late applications accepted; applications cannot be revised after submission)
10. Await notification of board decision (typically about two months after submission)
