Program Overview:
The Community Impact Committee (CIC) recommends funding in various categories for new programs and those funded by designated resources, including:

    Grant Categories:

Mini-Grants:

Amount: $2,500 or less Focus: Local programs in the area of Jewish Arts (defined as the art, not the artist) Requirement: Organization must be planning program more than eight weeks out Contact: impact@jewishcolumbus.org

Recent Grant Awards (FY23 Implementation):

Total distributed: $554,400

Sample awards:

  • Columbus Jewish Day School Community Engagement Grant: $24,000

  • Columbus Torah Academy Community Rebuilding and Engagement: $57,000

  • Hillel at OSU Birthright: Expanded and Enhanced: $53,500

  • JCC in partnership with JewishColumbus Jewish Community Disabilities Inclusion Director: $80,000

  • Jewish Family Services Food Support for Victims of Nazi Persecution: $65,000

  • Jewish Family Services Trauma and Grief Supports: $50,000

  • And 12 additional grants ranging from $5,000-$38,000

    Current Status:
    FY23 funding process is complete. Limited funding available for mini-grants ($2,500 or less) for Jewish Arts programs.

    Mini-Grant Application:
    1. Contact JewishColumbus with program details
    2. Program must be planned more than eight weeks out
    3. Focus: Jewish Arts (the art, not the artist)
