The Community Impact Grants: Fund for Greater Salina provides unrestricted funding to meet various charitable needs in the Salina area. Organizations can apply for grants up to $15,000 annually, with a maximum of $10,000 from the Community Impact Grant. This fund is supported by generous donors and aims to address evolving community challenges while prioritizing non-profit projects. The Fund for Greater Salina is an unrestricted community grant fund. The Fund was created and is supported by generous donors who have contributed money to the Foundation without restriction. These gifts offer the most flexibility for meeting charitable community needs. Because donations to the fund are permanently endowed, they will always be there to meet current, and often changing, needs.

Eligibility

Applications are not limited to a particular issue or target population.For-profit organizations are not considered as grant recipients unless the request is for a charitable project.Non-profit organizations and individuals or groups of individuals are considered.Grants are limited to projects that fall within the greater Salina area defined as: Saline County and charitable organizations outside Saline County that are founding donors in the Foundation.

Ineligibility

The following grant requests will NOT be considered:Incomplete, incorrect or late applicationsPolitical projects of any kindOrganizations or projects that practice discrimination of any kindOperating deficits or retirement of debt (if the project has already happened or been paid for, this is considered funding debt).
