The Hastings Community Foundation's Community Grants program awards funding to local nonprofits for a variety of purposes. The program is funded by an endowed fund at the foundation.

Began in 1994 with two nonprofits awarded $1,000 each

Has awarded more than $1.2 million since inception (as of 2023)

Recent annual allocation: $113,975 to 25 local nonprofits (2023)

Support capital projects and equipment purchases
