With support from our donors, the Foundation is happy to support community projects and programs that create opportunities for Jackson County, its citizens and its communities.
The Foundation funds address a wide variety of needs: human services; health; recreation; education; arts & culture; economic development; and nonprofit capacity building. Annually the Foundation provides grant support through the following Community Grant and Matching Grant Programs.
Funding Priorities
Community Action Grants (CAG) are made in the fields of: Arts and Culture, Education, Health and Human Services, Recreation, Youth and Family Services, and Community and Economic Development.
The Foundation focuses on: Capital and Equipment Projects, Program Development, Capacity Building, and Operating Support. Eligibility criteria differ based on the type of support requested.
Support projects that provide an organization with technical assistance and/or training to be able to more effectively meet their mission and/or provide services.
