Community Foundation of Westmoreland County Grant

The Community Foundation of Westmoreland County partners with nonprofits to address community needs through unrestricted grants. Their mission focuses on strengthening communities and promoting change, offering funding in areas like the Greensburg Foundation Fund and Revitalizing Westmoreland. They accept applications from organizations in Westmoreland County or those serving its residents, ensuring support for impactful initiatives. CFWC encourages proposals that align with evolving community priorities.

The Community Foundation of Westmoreland County (CFWC) is your community foundation. We work in partnership with nonprofit organizations to meet community needs. All CFWC grant applications are processed through the online portal of our parent organization, The Pittsburgh Foundation.
Funding
The mission of The Community Foundation of Westmoreland County’s unrestricted grant making is to strengthen communities, promote change and address overlapping community issues. CFWC has worked with partner organizations to create special funding initiatives to respond to some of our region’s most pressing needs.

Eligibility

To qualify for unrestricted grant support, your nonprofit organization must be located within Westmoreland County or demonstrate service to Westmoreland County residents. The Foundation only makes grants to nonprofits designated by the IRS as 501(c)(3) organizations (including churches) or to public entities such as towns, public schools or state agencies.All others must utilize a fiscal agent.
