Overview

Grants to benefit and continuously invest in the community. The Foundation addresses community needs by supporting nonprofit community organizations throughout Grays Harbor County. Grant applications from all nonprofit organizations that meet the Foundation's priorities and serve local residents are welcomed and encouraged.

Giving Priorities

The Foundation gives high priority to investments that create positive, substantive change and attempt to resolve problems at their source. Funding areas include:

Education and Learning

  • Programs that fully integrate on-site services of school districts and nonprofit organizations

  • Tutoring and mentoring programs

  • Learning efforts designed to reduce the preparation gap

  • Dropout prevention and reconnection programs

  • Parent and family involvement in schools
