Overview: Supports community-artist collaborative design and implementation of new, exterior wall mural projects in underserved communities of Baltimore City.

Geographic Scope: Underserved communities in Baltimore City

Focus Areas:

Exterior wall mural projects

Community-artist collaboration

New mural projects (not restoration)

Outdoor, publicly accessible spaces

Eligibility:

Community-artist collaboratives

Projects must be free and open to the public

Must be located in underserved communities

Award Details:

Up to $19,000 per project

VARA Waiver required from artist to receive funds

Program Support:

Create Baltimore seeks approvals on behalf of finalists:

- Environmental review of project site
- Right of Entry (permission to work on property)
- Artist contract administration
- Payment processing
