Colorado Book Awards

Overview: The Colorado Book Awards recognize and celebrate outstanding contributions by Colorado authors, editors, illustrators, and photographers. Now in their 29th year (as of 2020), the awards are presented each spring.

Geographic Scope: Colorado

Focus Areas: Literature across multiple genres and formats, including:

  • Anthology/Collection

  • Children's Literature

  • Creative Nonfiction

  • Fiction (General and Literary)

  • Genre Fiction (Mystery, Thriller, Romance, Science Fiction, Fantasy)
