    Award Presentation: Presented annually at The Frank Waters and Golden Quill Literary Awards Luncheon, the Friends of the Pikes Peak Library District's signature event

    Background: Named after Frank Waters, who wrote more than 20 books including Pikes Peak: A Mining Saga (early history of Colorado Springs) and Midas of the Rockies (about Winfield Scott Stratton), as well as books about Native American issues. This is a nationally recognized award.
