Cloud County Public Health Fund/Kansas Health Foundation for Cloud County Grant

The Cloud County Public Health Fund, established by the Kansas Health Foundation, aims to enhance the quality of life in Cloud County. It supports local health initiatives through grants, scholarships, and awards. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) nonprofits, educational institutions, and government entities. The fund prioritizes projects that promote public health and well-being. However, it does not support political projects or those with operating deficits, ensuring funds contribute to meaningful community impact.

The Cloud County Public Health Fund was established in response to the Kansas Health Foundation’s second chapter of the Giving Resources to our World (GROW II) match grant challenge.
Grants from this fund support the public health of Cloud County.
Funding for this grant is also supported by the Kansas Health Foundation Fund for Cloud County.

Eligibility

The community foundation can make grants to the following entities:501(c)(3) nonprofit organizationsEducationGovernmentReligiousNote: Individuals or organizations that do NOT fall into one of the above entities are encouraged to partner with a fiscal agent in one of those categories.If that is not possible, please contact the community foundation to see if your project still qualifies and if there are any additional reporting requirements.Grants are typically restricted to the geographic areas served by the community foundationIt is not possible to submit the same proposal to multiple grant cycles.

Ineligibility

The following grant requests will not be considered:Incomplete, incorrect or late applicationsPolitical projects of any kindOrganizations or projects that practice discrimination of any kindOperating deficits or retirement of debt (if the project has already happened or been paid for, this is considered funding debt).
