Purpose: Help ensure nursing care needs of residents of Dearborn and Ohio counties are satisfied; provide financial assistance for individuals to receive adequate education and training to meet nursing care needs of the two counties.
Geographic Scope: Dearborn County and Ohio County, Indiana
Eligibility:
- Students pursuing nursing education and training
- Must demonstrate commitment to nursing in the service region
Award Details:
- Up to $5,000 in scholarships available (may support multiple recipients or one recipient per cycle)
Expectations for Recipients:
- Send thank you note to DCF directed to appropriate scholarship committee
- Provide copy of tuition bill and class schedule at least two weeks prior to tuition due date
- Provide any additional necessary contact information
