Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF)

Provides low-interest loans for planning, design, and construction of water quality projects. Funding available for publicly owned centralized wastewater treatment works, non-point source management, decentralized systems, stormwater management, water reuse/recycling, energy efficiency, and watershed projects. Loan terms up to 30 years with repayment beginning one year after project completion. Interest rates from 0.01% for public entities to 2.375% for private entities. Loan subsidy may be available to disadvantaged borrowers or those incorporating sustainability features.
