Overview
Provides low-interest loans for planning, design, and construction loans for wastewater infrastructure projects. Eligible projects include centralized wastewater treatment works, non-point source management, decentralized systems, stormwater management, conservation measures, watershed projects, energy efficiency, wastewater/stormwater reuse, and security improvements. Loan subsidy available to disadvantaged borrowers or those incorporating sustainability features. Loan terms up to 30 years with repayment beginning one year after project completion. Interest rates: 0.01% for qualifying public entities, 2.375% for private entities.
