Overview:
The Clean Water Fund will enable local partners to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of water restoration projects using technology, cultural sensitivity, and science-based practices. The goal is to get Lancaster County's streams to clean and clear in a generation.

Community Need:

Over half of Lancaster County's 1,400 miles of streams are not healthy

Much of the groundwater is unhealthy

Clean water is a priority for partners across all of Lancaster County

Approach:

Collaborative effort with a group of partners ready to work across the landscape

Focus on restoration projects in priority places

Science-based practices

Technology and cultural sensitivity integrated into projects

Partnership:
Managed in collaboration with Lancaster Clean Water Partners, a coalition working to provide clean and clear local waterways.
